Pacnet Business Solutions (China) has announced plans to further expand investments in China with its IP VPN license from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), enabling it to offer value-added services and directly connecting its industry-leading IP network infrastructure into major cities across the country.
"China continues to show solid economic growth despite the challenging economic conditions, with the World Bank recently raising its China gross domestic product forecast from 6.5% to 7.2%. With our new IP VPN license, we look forward to supporting the country's rapid growth and the increase in demand for network connectivity through our robust and high-speed IP network, both into and across China," said Wilfred Kwan, Chief Technology Officer of Pacnet, during the 2009 China-Hong Kong Communication Technology Forum in Shenzhen.
Pacnet offers IP VPN in five classes of service and is available in usage-based billing options, offering customers a broad range of choices for their network connectivity needs. The new service in China is offered with the same service levels that are available in all Pacnet locations around the world.
